Hey there! I’m Danielle, your herbal mentor.

My story begins over a decade ago when a friend introduced me to herbalism, and I was forever changed. I fell head over heels in love with the natural world, its beauty and mystery, and wanted to soak up everything I could get my hands on. I quickly became overwhelmed at the vast amount of information and had a hard time finding a mentor. Through lots of self study and experimentation, I built a solid foundation but it took a long time. Eventually I found schools such as The Herbal Academy and The Chestnut School of Herbal Medicine and was able to deepen my roots (haha get it?) and become more confident in this beautiful plant filled world. But it was a long winding road and I made a lot of mistakes along the way.

My goal here is to make herbalism less complicated and more accessible. It can feel isolating in our modern society to live by more land based, ancestral practices. But that is why I am here. It is possible to care for yourself and your community with what grows right at our feet, and to feel in sync with nature once again. Here you will find a herbal community and mentor, easy to follow herbal education, and customized herbal preparations. I aim to be the teacher I sough so long for.
